The journey of each piece
Every piece begins long before the clay: in watching the sea and the natural world, their rhythms, what is born, changes and begins again. That movement is where the inspiration comes from. Then I give it form with my hands alone, letting the clay decide. Each piece has its own cycle, from damp clay to final form, one of a kind like everything that comes from the sea and from nature.
